Only five short days after our friends Emily and Joe welcomed their baby girl into the world....she was taken back by her birthmother. My heart goes out to Joe and Emily that they try to recover from their loss and they are matched with another baby when they are ready. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss.
Well we moved into our new home last Thursday, January 15th, 2009. Moving is so much work but with the help of my sister Sharon and her girls, my brother Tom and his family, and our friends Missy and Jamie things went smoothly. We only broke one lamp and made one scratch on the wall...I would call it a successful move. It feels good to have our own home again and we are looking forward to having our furniture delivered and having our TV, phone and internet hooked up hopefully this week. Most of the house is organized, oh wait, I mean most of the boxes are in the proper rooms. I thought I was doing good until last night when I went to the basement and realized that everything we didn't know where to put was just stacked up there. At least its in the house and not in storage anymore. I would feel so much better if I could get my scrapping area somewhat organized for the upcoming events. Oh well, hopefully this weekend I can get around to getting things in order. One thing that is ready to go is the crib...thanks to Missy and Jamie for putting it together. Now all we really need is a baby to to use the nursery....the rest of the house can wait.
